REFLEXOLOGY

Foot reflexology

During a foot reflexology session, the feet are mainly handled without cream or oil. The session begins with a warm-up of the feet and toes, then all the reflex zones of the foot are stimulated. I practice relaxation reflexology inspired by Western and Thai food reflexology using my hands and a reflexology wood stick. If the duration of the session allows, I finish with a massage of the lower legs. This treatment does not claim to cure any pathology.

What is reflexology?

Reflexology is a natural manual therapy, used for thousands of years, which relieves the physical body. Like all alternative therapies, it is based on the fact that the body is a dynamic unit, endowed with intelligence and capable of self-regulation and self-healing. Our feet are like a projection of our entire body, so reflexology stimulates, through acupressure, the numerous reflex zones corresponding to the different organs of the human body. Reflexology does not claim to cure pathologies, however it is a comfort treatment which soothes the body, stimulates blood and nervous circulation and the elimination of waste products, which improves irrigation and physiological functioning of the corresponding organs. In addition to its physical benefits, reflexology provides intense relaxation for everyone and for all ages, from babies to seniors.
